Fly for Fliggity Air today!

What’s a Virtual Airline?

It’s an airline — wait for it — that is virtual. This is just to say that it only exists within the simulated world. We host our Virtual Airline with FSHub.io and if you’re interested you should consider joining!

How do I join?

Fliggity Air is always looking for pilots since many of our existing ones have become blind eunuchs due to landing lights and aircraft radar being left on at the gate – but never mind that, you want to join the ranks of pilots for Fliggity Air!

  1. Create an account with FS Hub (it’s free) <- This step is important, the below link won’t work if you are not logged into an account

  2. Head over to https://fshub.io/airline/FLG/overview

  3. Apply to join

  4. Have a Filgers while you wait for someone to approve your request

OK, I’ve joined, how do I start flying?

Alright, you’re going to need a couple of things:

  1. Start by grabbing the LRM Client from FSHub.io

  2. You’ll also need the FSUIPC client (or XPUIPC Client if you’re on X-Plane) which you can grab from “System Requirements” from the above download page.

Don’t worry about seeing that FSUIPC has a paid version; all you need is the freely accessible parts of the application for our purposes. Once everything is installed, launch the LRM client, link your account to FS Hub and as long as you select Fliggity Air from the drop-down and it says connected in the bottom left of the window when the sim is running then you should be all set!

I have questions

  • Fear not, if one of your flights doesn’t get recorded for some reason head on over to the Crew Portal on FSHub.io and fill out a manual PIREP (pilot report). Once you submit it someone from the airline management can approve it for you so it can be recorded in the logbooks!

  • You’re important, just like everyone else, but if you want to display the amount of skill you have and the amount of time invested in Fliggity Air then you’re in luck. By flying flights for us and using FS Hub’s software to track your flight you’ll accrue flight time which leads to new ranks. Here are just a few:

    • 0 hours: Haha noob! I mean… you’re a Cadet Trainee.

    • 5 hours: Jr. Flight Officer

    • 50 hours: First Officer

    • 100 hours: Sr. First Officer

    • 200 hours: Captain

There are a few more ranks that you’ll just have to discover on your own!

  • Do we ever! There are an ever changing number of them listed (and some unlisted) over on our achievements page. Check them out and get flying!

  • We’re so glad that you asked; there are sound effects if you’d like to use them! They come in the form of audio files to play where you would normally have announcements by the gate agents, flight attendants, and the captain!

  • Company Routes are specific flights that Fliggity Air operates. By flying these routes you’ll earn FliggiBucks (tm) which you will then be able to redeem for various rewards. These rewards are subject to change without notice or the whims of Fliggity Air admin.
